LA IMPLEMENTACIÓN DE LAS HERRAMIENTAS TECNOLÓGICAS EN LA EDUCACIÓN MEDIA EN TIEMPOS DE COVID-19 EN LA CIUDAD DE ENCARNACIÓN

Resumen

El presente estudio aborda el uso de las herramientas tecnológicas en la educación media en la ciudad de Encarnación. Tuvo como objetivo identificar las herramientas utilizadas por los docentes y estudiantes en el proceso de enseñanza – aprendizaje en el Colegio Experimental de la Universidad Católica en la ciudad de Encarnación durante el año 2020. El tema en estudio adquiere relevancia al ser una problemática social actual que afecta a todos los agentes intervinientes de la educación, con poca experiencia en la utilización de las herramientas digitales en el ámbito educativo. La población de estudio fue la constituida por los estudiantes matriculados y los docentes de la educación media del Colegio CEUCE. Se abordó desde enfoque cuantitativo, transversal, no experimental y descriptivo y se realizaron encuestas al grupo de estudiantes de la educación media del primero al tercer año y otra encuesta realizada al plantel de docentes del mencionado colegio, que fueron desarrolladas con muestreo no probabilístico con la herramienta del Google Forms y procesadas con el Software SPSS. Los principales resultados arrojados fueron que la plataforma Google Meet es la más efectiva para el desarrollo de las clases según los docentes, sin embargo, los estudiantes prefieren el uso de Zoom. Por otro, los estudiantes manifestaron que en cuanto a la practicidad para la entrega de las tareas prefieren adjuntar documentos en Word antes que las imágenes.

Abstract

This study addresses the use of technological tools in secondary education in the city of Encarnación. Its objective was to identify the tools used by teachers and students in the teaching-learning process at the Experimental College of the Catholic University in the city of Encarnación during the year 2020. The subject under study acquires relevance as it is a current social problem that It affects all the agents involved in education, with little experience in the use of digital tools in the educational field. The study population was constituted by the enrolled students and the teachers of secondary education of Colegio CEUCE. It was approached from a quantitative, cross-sectional, non-experimental and descriptive approach and surveys were carried out to the group of students of secondary education from the first to the third year and another survey carried out to the teaching staff of the mentioned school, which were developed with non-probabilistic sampling with Google Forms tool and processed with the SPSS Software. The main results were that the Google Meet platform is the most effective for the development of classes according to teachers, however, students prefer the use of Zoom. On the other hand, the students stated that regarding the practicality for the delivery of the tasks, they prefer to attach documents in Word rather than the images.
